AMS Erdős Memorial LectureThe next AMS Erdős Memorial Lecture will be held at this meeting on October 3, 2015, 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., and the lecturer will be Peter Sarnak, Institute for Advanced Study and Princeton University.The title of his talk will be Markoff Surfaces, Numbers and Strong Approximation. Friday SessionPlease note: The official start of this meeting is Saturday, October 3, 2015. Onsite registration will open at 7:30am on Saturday. Special sessions 2-A,B,C, Groups, Rings, Group rings, and Hopf Algebras, celebrating the 75th birthday of Don Passman, are scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2015. These will be the only events on Friday. Poster SessionsThe Mathematics Department at Loyola University Chicago is hosting a poster session at the Fall 2015 AMS Central Sectional Meeting. Space is limited, and priority will be given to graduate students and early-career researchers who are not otherwise presenting at the meeting. However, anyone is welcome to submit to the poster session. The deadline for submission is September 4, 2015, and decisions will be made by September 8.
