Funding for Projects in Undergraduate Education

The National Science Foundation Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) within the Directorate for Education and Human Resources (EHR) provides many funding opportunities to strengthen science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at two and four-year colleges and universities.

Funding Information for Undergraduate Research

The Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) also funds programs for undergraduate students that provide either direct (i.e., from NSF) or indirect (i.e., from an awardee institution) funding for students at the undergraduate level or identifies programs that focus on educational developments for this group such as curricula development, training or retention.

NSF Proposal Preparation and Submission

Proposals submitted to NSF must be submitted using the NSF FastLane system.  Contact with NSF program personnel prior to proposal preparation and submission is encouraged.  Please know that some NSF program solicitations modify the general provisions of NSF’s Grant Proposal Guide, and, in such cases, the instructions provided in the solicitation must be followed.
