AMS President Gives Testimony Supporting NSF


AMS President, David A. Vogan, provided written testimony to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies regarding FY2014 appropriations for the National Science Foundation (NSF) for a March 21, 2013 public hearing.  The NSF is the only federal agency that supports research and education across all fields of science, engineering and mathematics.  Vogan wrote about the need for adequate, dependable federal support for the NSF in order for the U.S. to remain the global leader in high level scientific research.  Full text of testimony
