Distribution
The AMS TeX-related collections are available in prepackaged form
for several different platforms:
This page covers only the basic collections: AMS-LaTeX, AMS-TeX and
AMSFonts.
Author packages
for specific
AMS publications are also available.
Windows and DOS (IBM PC and compatibles)
The AMS TeX collections are packaged in zip format for use on Windows and
DOS systems. Click on one of these selections to download the package.
Binaries for the zip utility are available from CTAN for many platforms.
Check in the tools/zip/info-zip
area.
Macintosh
AMS collections containing only ASCII files are packaged in zip format.
Only the AMSFonts collection is packaged differently for use with
Textures.

Unix and other systems
Collections primarily for Unix are packaged with zip.

AMSFonts: files for printing
Prepackaged collections of PK (bitmap) files are available in tar format
only, for the output device resolutions indicated. Click on one of these
selections to download the package.
Users with PostScript capability may prefer to obtain the
Type 1 (PostScript) outline versions
of the AMSFonts.
