Cora Sadosky (1940-2010) was an expert in harmonic analysis and operator theory, a student of Alberto Calderón and Antony Zygmund. She was a strong advocate for women in mathematics as well as active in promoting the greater participation of African-Americans in mathematics. She was President of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) from 1993 to 1995, among other public offices she held during her life. This afternoon will be devoted to current results in harmonic analysis, operator theory and PDEs related to the mathematics of Cora Sadosky.
