Algebraic Graph TheoryMonth: June 2013 Date: June 17--28 Name: Algebraic Graph Theory Location: University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming. DescriptionThe purpose of this summer program is to introduce participants to topics in algebraic graph theory, including spectral graph theory, association schemes, and graph polynomials, with applications to quantum walks, error correcting codes, designs, the Potts model, and DNA self-assembly. Each of the three main speakers will give a total of ten lectures. No specialized prior knowledge will be assumed. In the afternoons there will be contributed talks by participants on their research.
