"Primal dream," an interview with Marcus du Sautoy by Ben Longstaff. New Scientist, 26 November 2003.
Mathematician Marcus du Sautoy talks about prime numbers, teaching prime numbers to 5-year olds, popularizing mathematics, his research, his interest in music, and what keeps mathematicians going--to which he replied, "Mathematics is something that will never come to an end. It is a bit like that Greek monster, the hydra. You chop off one head and two more appear. Each discovery suggests that more interesting, intriguing things lie beyond it. I think that is what keeps people going."
