"African institute ready for meeting of mathematical minds," by Tom Clarke. Nature, 18 September 2003, page 228.
The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences is a postgraduate mathematics institute that opened recently in Cape Town, South Africa. The Institute will offer courses in both pure and applied mathematics. Clarke writes that more than 100 academics worldwide have volunteered to lecture at the Institute. Courses are free for the students.
