"Science in culture: Algorithmic architecture," by Martin Kemp. Nature, 8 August 2002, page 590.

Toyo Ito and Cecil Balmond have designed and built a temporary pavilion in London's Hyde Park whose "floors and walls dissolve into an intricate web of interpenetrating squares, triangles and irregular polygons generated by an algorithm." Kemp gives the algorithm in the article as well as pictures of the pavilion, which has a square base 17 meters per side and is 4.5 meters high.
