This volume commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM)--a national institute for research in the mathematical sciences in Canada. It includes contributions by eminent scientists who have been closely involved with the CRM. Various topics in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, theoretical physics, and mathematical biology are covered. Original research papers and reviews, as well as historical notes and reminiscences, are included in the volume.

Titles in this series are co-published with the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques.
