Stevens Institute of Technology to Host Mathematics Meeting

PROVIDENCE, RI –Stevens Institute of Technology will host the 2001 Spring Eastern Section Meeting of the American Mathematical Society, April 28 and 29. Over 250 mathematicians from 31 states and 22 countries will gather at the Institute to present latest findings of their research.

Among these presentations will be four from members of the Institute’s Department of Mathematical Sciences. In addition, five members of the Department of Mathematical Sciences faculty have organized sessions on six different areas of research.
