University of Nevada, Las Vegas to Host Mathematics Meeting

PROVIDENCE, RI –The University of Nevada, Las Vegas Department of Mathematical Sciences will be sponsoring the Spring Western Sectional Meeting of the American Mathematical Society, April 21 and 22. More than 200 mathematicians from 39 states and 18 countries will gather at the University to present latest findings of their research.

Five members of the University’s Department of Mathematical Sciences will be among the presenters. In addition, ten members of the Department’s faculty have organized sessions on five different areas of research.
